Swarovski EL 10x42 W B Swarovision Binoculars

The EL binoculars combine maximum functionality, innovation and design. The unique wrap-around grip enables comfortable operation even with one hand. Low weight and excellent balance make light work of observation over long periods. The sophisticated top-class optical system delivers high-contrast, lifelike image quality.
In the EL series, Swarovski Optik uses high-quality technologies such as the SWAROBRIGHT coating for maximum colour fidelity across the whole light spectrum or the SWAROTOP and SWARODUR coatings for bright, high-contrast images.
The non-stick effect of the SWAROCLEAN coating on the outer surface of the lens makes cleaning objective and eyepiece lenses considerably easier, above all when removing dried-on mineral residues (e.g. water marks due to condensation), insect repellents and tree resin. The lenses require less intensive cleaning which significantly increases the longevity of optical products.
SWAROVISION ? OPTICAL QUALITY REDEFINED
The revolutionary SWAROVISION TECHNOLOGY from SWAROVSKI OPTIK gives the new EL 42 a previously unequalled image quality. The combination of field flattener lenses and HD optic ensures an impressive image resolution across the entire field of view.
Thus providing outstanding contrast even when observing at dusk.
Spectacle wearers also benefit from the full wide-angle field of view due to the large eye relief.
FIELD FLATTENER LENSES ? CONTRAST RIGHT UP TO THE IMAGE PERIPHERY
The image focus of the new EL 42 has never before been achieved in any binoculars. The field flattener lenses produce a virtually flat image. As a result, even the finest structures and smallest details are reproduced with razor-sharp clarity right up to the image periphery.
Never before has the observer seen an image without annoying distortions. The outstanding image quality over the entire field of view means less refocusing and allows every detail to be identified at lightning speed.
HIGH-DEFINITION ? FOR MAXIMUM CONTRAST
The fluoride-containing HD lenses minimise colour fringing (chromatic aberration) for contrast-rich images with razor-sharp outlines.
As a result, significant improvements in resolution and contrast are achieved in comparison to conventional grades of glass.
Experience a completely new vision of nature?s world of shapes and colours.
GREATER EYE RELIEF ? 100% FIELD OF VIEW FOR SPECTACLE WEARERS
The new EL 42 stands out in comparison with other binoculars due to a larger distance of the exit pupil. This enables spectacle wearers to enjoy the entire wide-angle field of view and also the unique edge sharpness of the new EL. The removable twist-in eyecups are individually adjustable in three stages. In addition to the maximum position (completely twisted out) and the setting for spectacle wearers (completely twisted in), the eyecups also have a snap-in intermediate stage.
OPTIMISED COATING ? FOR MAXIMUM COLOUR FIDELITY
The enhanced coatings of the lenses and prisms (SWARODUR, SWAROTOP, SWAROBRIGHT) in the new EL guarantee lifelike colour reproduction and outstanding image brightness for spectacular observation experiences even at dusk.
The SWAROCLEAN coating on the outer surface of the lens ensures a non-stick effect with obvious cleaning advantage in the case of dirt such as water marks, insect repellents and tree resin.

What are SWAROVSKI OPTIK's warranty terms?
The duration and scope of the manufacturer’s warranty depend on the product, the production year, and the components used.
This is how you determine when your device was made: What is the year of manufacture of my device?
The diagram below provides an overview:
This means for example:
- for products without electronics produced after 2007 (e. g. NL Pure), SWAROVSKI OPTIK covers the costs for labor and material for 10 years (5 years manufacturer's warranty, 5 years goodwill) in case of a warranty repair
- for products without electronics produced before 2007 (e. g. AT 80), SWAROVSKI OPTIK covers the costs for labor and material for 10 years and the costs for material for 20 more years in case of a warranty repair
- for products with electronics (e. g. EL Range), SWAROVSKI OPTIK covers in case of a warranty repair
- costs for labor and material for 5 years (2 years warranty, 3 years goodwill) for electronics
- costs for labor and material for 10 years (5 years manufacturer's warranty, 5 years goodwill) for optics and mechanics.
- Accessories and Gear are covered by the 2-year statutory guarantee.
- Extendable spotting scopes (CTC/CTS) have a 5-year warranty.
- A 3-year warranty is granted for products with essential electronics (tM 35).
- Please note the warranty terms enclosed with the product.
For a warranty repair, a warranty/service document or proof of purchase is needed.
You find the detailed applying warranty terms in your manual or on our website, on the product's page when you click on “Warranty”. The enclosed document gives a more thorough insight in our general warranty terms.
