Normal Delivery Arrangements
Orders are generally dealt with as soon as they are received. Parcels are picked up from us in the early afternoon (Monday - Friday), and orders before 1pm will normally be shipped for delivery within (the island of) Ireland the next working day and deliveries to continental Europe or other parts of the world can take considerably longer.
Depending on the value and the urgency of items they are dispatched via one of four services:
- Direct Delivery - orders in the greater Dublin area are now delivered directly from our shop to the shipping address by a dedicated professional driver to avoid delays.
- DPD Couriers - the vast majority of our parcels are dispatched using their trackable overnight delivery service for Ireland including Northern Ireland.
- An Post (Express Post) - some Irish next-day deliveries and most international orders outside the UK are sent via registered parcel post.
- ASAP Couriers - items of greater urgency for delivery same day in the Dublin urban area.
Orders totalling over €100 will be delivered free within Ireland (bulky items excluded). Standard delivery costs applied to any order from the Conns Cameras website will be as follows:

DPD would be our courier of choice for most standard size or oversized parcels, but we may also use a Dedicated Professional Driver or ASAP Couriers for local deliveries in Dublin, and Express Post for parcel deliveries if required.
Where multiple items have been ordered together the more expensive of any allocated postal rates will apply for the entire combined order, and items which are of excess weight or unusual proportions may have a surcharge applied to cover addition courier handling fees. Where an ordered item cannot be dispatched straight away for some reason we will endeavour to make contact and advise of the expected delay.
Click&Collect
Since December 2015 you have been able to order online and collect your items in our city-centre shop - simply choose "Collection" as you "Shipping Method" when going through the checkout, and confirm your payment with 3DSecure (aka Verified By Visa). You will need to present a copy of your order confirmation email in the shop and have photo ID with you in order to collect the item(s).
