This thumb rest slides into the camera's hot shoe and makes it possible to more comfortably rest one's thumb against the camera body and enjoy a steadier and more secure grip, especially during one-handed operation. The thumb rest is constructed from metal and has a rubber covering on the surface for improved tackiness.
