The Cokin Filter P057 Star 4 contains a series of thin lines etched into the optical glass of the filter. These thin lines generate multiple points of light, or 'stars', that emerge from a central light source. The result is a photograph with a more seductive, sparkling appearance. The lines produce a four-pointed star with a line down the middle of the light. A large aperture is generally sufficient to achieve the star effect. The filter is made of high quality optical glass.
