Elinchrom's EL-Skyport WiFi Module gives you the opportunity to expand the capabilities of the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to include remote triggering of your Elinchrom RX series flash equipment. All you need to do is purchase this WiFi Module then download the free EL-Skyport app and instruction manual. The module features 8 channels and runs on a Li-ion battery that fully charges in 3 hours and lasts for 10 hours of use. 40 Bit security ensures interference-free WiFi operation at distances up to 164' outdoors and 65.6' indoors. The module can also be used as a non-WiFi EL-Skyport radio transceiver at distances up to 328' outdoors and 131' indoors. The EL- Skyport WiFi Module comes with a set of adapters and cords that enable connection to your RX flash gear.
Uniquely Elinchrom Skyport. This is the first wireless system which enables the remote control and the remote of Elinchrom RX flash units from Apple® mobile devices such as iPhone™, iPad™ and iPod Touch™. The idea is to use devices for controlling flash units, which already exist in big volume in the market and which many owners consider to be the most practical and user friendly mobile devices ever. All Elinchrom RX units can be controlled but various features are accessible depending on the unit detected.
The Skyport WiFi module is the bridge between Apple devices and Elinchrom flashes. This module can also act a Universal Speed Receiver at the same time.
