The DV 2019 Registration opens on Tuesday, October 4th
Online registration for the DV-2019 Program begins on Tuesday, October 18, 2019 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), and concludes on Tuesday, November 22, 2019 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-4).
UPDATE ON THE DV LOTTERY
Due to a technical issue, the DV-2019 entry period that began on October 3 has been closed. Entries submitted during October 3-10 are not valid and have been excluded from the system; they will not count as a duplicate entry. The technical issue has been resolved and a new full entry period will begin at noon, U.S. Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday October 18, 2019 and will run until noon Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday November 22, 2019. Only entries submitted during this period will be accepted and considered for selection in the lottery. Please throw away any confirmation number or other documentation that you have if you submitted an entry during Oct. 3-10. Entries will NOT be accepted through the U.S. Postal Service.
Come into the shop and we will take your photograph. We will then e-mail the photo to you or give it to you on a CD or USB Key, whichever you prefer. Before we send it on to you, we will validate it online on the DV-2019 website to ensure that you have nothing to worry about regarding its submission.
We have been catering for this service for the past eight years.
Please note that the only website to gain valid information regarding the DV-2019 is on the US Government Website. Form DS-5501 Electronic Diversity Visa (e-DV) Application for online Diversity Visa Lottery entry, is available only on the Department State, Diversity Visa online entry website at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ during the online entry registration period.
The following is a message on the US Government website:
There have been instances of fraudulent websites posing as official U.S. Government sites. Some companies posing as the U.S. Government have sought money in order to “complete” lottery entry forms. There is no charge to download and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form. The Department of State notifies successful Diversity Visa applicants by letter, and NOT by email. To learn more see the Department of State Warning and the Federal Trade Commission Warning.
