Information regarding the DFA Irish Online Passport Application Service (OPAS)

The Online Passport Renewal Service is available to Irish citizens who have previously held an Irish passport which has not expired by more than five years.

Having tested the system, we have verified that we are able to take photos that meet the requirements for the online application. You just need to call in, we’ll take your photo and then e-mail it to you for submitting online.

International Passport/Visa Photos & Other ID Photos

We shoot and print all passport image formats for anywhere in the world, including:

• Biometric European Passport ( i.e. Irish Passport)
• Passport photos of babies
• US Visa (available in a digital format)
• US J1 (available in a digital format)
• PSV Photo (i.e. Taxi License Photo)
• Canadian Passport, Temporary Visa, Permanent Resident, Citizenship and Canadian Digital
• Brazilian Passport

Photos are printed instantly where possible. Where you require a digital format of your photo, we can either email it to you or put it on a CD.

Baby Passport Photos

We will take passport photos of babies at any time that suits you. We are experienced in capturing the photo that meets the requirements for the various passports. Please, do not hesitate to bring in your baby and we will take care of everything from there.

Although we try our best, and will take as many shots as necessary to achieve results, occasionally it just doesn’t happen on the day (if the child is asleep for example, or becomes uncooperative). So, to save you the hassle of coming into town with your baby, we have a detailed guide on how you can take passport photos of your own child(ren).
